I just got my dinghy that I got on ebay. Filled it up and seems to hold air...yahoooo. Will be taking it out to the boat tonight to put it in the water and give it a better test. The dinghy is 11' by 5' and seems to weight about 80-100 lbs without the outboard. I was thinking I could keep it deflatted in the v-berth and move it around when needed, but now that I think of it, it's kind of bulky and heavy to be moving around. I will not be using it much now, I got it more for long weekend trips and emergencies, but also for when I cruise in the future (hopefully not too far away).Questions: 1) where do you store your dinghy when not in use?2) Does UV really hurt these? I've been told putting them on the dinghy rack wasn't a good idea because they don't have any protection there from UV. Thoughts?3) What do you use to blow yours up if you keep it deflatted on the boat?4) If I bolt it down (chain and lock) on the bow and cover it with some kind of canvis, issues with that? Thanks in advance...
