I bought an Aquamax dinghy 2 years ago. After one year the transom separated from the boots that hold it to the tubes. The company sent me a replacement within a week of notification of the problem. I was impressed by their response.
I would like to repair the original dinghy but am not sure what type of glue to use. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If it is pvc-use contact cement...but you only get 1 try.Once you connect the two pieces together, they are stuck. For hypolon, there is special glue that is more forgiving. An alternative mjght be 5200. Spred it on and clamp it together until it drys. Bob
