Dinghy Davits

I am interested in installing dinghy davits on my hunter 426 to carry a 260 lb dinghy and motor. Can anyone provide advice or their experience with what type/maufacture has worked best. thanks

Is this a Hunter only product?

I guess what I am asking is that Hunter gets a lot of their stuff from outside suplliers.Is there a manufacturer that someone can go to to get this?

I think it is a Hunter only product

The davit system matches up to perfectly to the arch on my 2005 44ac. Also, the directions that came with it do not indicate any other manufacturer.

check out this web sitethey just made a set of davits for my 386, and i know that they have done many for other hunters. they are usually at the local shows.

I have a new 41 DS and had the Kato davits installed. They hold up to 300 lbs. Excellent quality. Had the Hunter dealer install them.

Steve, just to clarify....

...the Kato davits you have: are these supplied by Hunter Marine (since they do have davits as an option for the 41), or did you/your dealer get them directly from Kato? We are interested for our 41AC. Thanks.
