Ive read with interest the recent dicussions regarding propane tanks. I recently purchased a 40.5 & have been agonizing this. Turns out the previous owner had implemented the exact solution suggested here: a 4 or 5lb aluminum tank in a fender holder. I've posted a photo over in the photo forum showing this. Also.. if anyone has information on the davits on my boat, I'd love to have it, as they were one of the few things undocumented. They are great vis-a-vis the recent dicsussions of dinghy storage & motor lift out. I discovered the outboard motor "crane" (it attaches to the straight rod on top of the davits) only after I took possision. Looks like I lucked out on both these problems.
