Has anyone installed a stainless steel aft arch, similar to the cockpit arch, on a Passage 42? If so, what is your satisfaction level with it ? We are planning to sail the Carib starting next Fall and are looking for a practical solution to hoisting our 10'-6'RIB, and hosting an antenna array. Comments please.

I've seen one

There is one on the northern Chesapeake Bay. I think it is Dreamchaser or Dreamcatcher or something like that. Look in the owners directory. Owner make lots of modifications to the boat. They are liveaboards. Arch was just like the mainsheet arch only bigger. Same angle and design. It was mounted on the deck and the first step and did everything you want. There is also someone in Deltaville Va that makes these for Benneteaus. You could call Deltaville Yachts for more infor about that if you are nearby.

I've seen one also

I've seen two boats, maybe the same one twice, with a second arch down here in the Keys. There is a company in Ft. Lauderdale that has manufactured them for a couple of boats. It is Well's Marine. They're on the internet but I don't recall the URL. I'm planning on installing one next year sometime to hold antennas, solar panels, and davits
