Dinette table conversion

I'm new owner of a 2005 Hunter 306. After installing the interior cushions I found I had a cushion set that doesn't seem to fit anywhere. I realize now that the dinette table converts into another berth. Seems simple, but haven't figured out the proper way to set it up. Any feedback would be appreciated, especially any photos would be awesome.

Hi Hanna, I used to have a 2005 H306. We never used the dining table area as a berth. One suggestion is to check your table set up vs the standard stock pictures. If like me, the previous owner may have cut the table size down a bit as it was too larger given the space. Especially for my wife and I as usually it was just us two and the oversized table interfered with getting around. For ours I believe there was just the pin beneath that came out to allow you to drop the table down. Good luck with the 306, we loved ours!

To drop the table you just need to lift up on it a bit and pull the pin under the table from the hole in the compression post. The table settles down nicely on the Edge of the settee. Putting it back is just as simple. One person job. We don't use it as a berth and I might to cut my table down a bit for more room also.
