I bought this boat on e-bay and it is supposed to be a 1986. The hull id# does end with an 86, however, i cannot find any photos with a dinette layout like this one for a 1986.The layouts i have seen are 2 bench style seats and this boat has a curved seating area around the dinette. I saw this dinette in a 1988. Would anyone know if this might be a later boat or did Hunter offer more than one choice for the dinette? Any info would be greatly appreciated..Thanks! Rebecca

Hull ID may give you a clue
Rebecca: Your hull id# may give you a clue about the actual mfg. date. (see link) The changed the settee setup sometime after the '85 models. It is sort of like they say in their brochures, they have the right to 'change' stuff without telling us when and why they are doing it.

Sounds like it's an '87
I have an '87 H31 and it has the curved dinette you describe. Check the hull ID #, as the previous poster talked about. And enjoy your boat, whichever year it is! Bought on e-bay...... did you get it surveyed or sea trial it? Was it an auction? I'm amazed at what people will buy on e-bay!!! *pop Cheers, Bob

My '87 was built in August 1986. It has the curved dinette. We have lived with it for five years now and prefer it to the bench seat version. The table top unfolds so we can get 8 people around it. Rarely need it but the few times we have, it has been handy.

I have an '86 and love my rounded table. It works great and the table does seat a lot when we have to. You'll enjoy it.
