My Kenyon depth is still sort of working. Seems like mine works pretty good when the depth is over 11 feet. Under that, it wants to read funny, or not read at all. Bad enough that I really don't trust it. Maybe we can both learn something and find pieces if needed. But it's old enough that probably not worth spending much money on.
Found this: Kenyon Instruments and Kenyon Electronics are currently being handled by Miller Marine of Jacksonville, Florida(http://www.millermarine.com/). But when I go there I see no mention of Kenyon. The item mentioning that was pretty old, 1999 I think. Might be worth a phone call though: 904-388-3690. Let us know what you learn.
thanks guys for the effort and info. after thinking, i decided to just add or rplace the xnsdcr with a smart one with NEMA outputs and link it through my chart plotter.
did fin some interesting info though. My chart plotter is INTERPHASE .
Wen to their website and saw something to consider. " FORWARD LOOKING SONAR ".
allows you to see the bottom ahead of you instead of straight down.
