Different GPS assisted grounding

It's amazing how many cars I encounter going the wrong way on one way streets, entering a closed roadway, approaching a road blocked due to an accident/flooding/tree down where the driver insists that they can go there because the GPS said so. I could only imagine if some of those drivers were on the water!!!!

Electronics have become so ubiquitous and our reliance on them so blind that this kind of thing will continue to happen in spite of other real sensory input. My office mate was taking his solo flying exam and even though what he saw out the window in no way resembled his charts or maps he trusted his instruments and flew over 150 miles off course before he began to question the variation and he was over 200 miles off before turning back.
And many a boat has ended up aground or beached due to reliance on gps course input to auto pilots. Keep a watch and trust your eyes.
Remember, if it runs on electrons it WILL fail.....someday.
