Today checking out the hose for the cockpit drain at the rear of the aft berth ... and suprised to find good view of the diesel tank ...WITH A SHUTOFF at the very top. This seems to be a secret passage as I can't remember anyone talking about shutting off the tank from the back of the aft berth. And the only way to get to this shutoff is through this 4 inch space between the hull and the cockpit wall. Hey if we wanted to keep someone from stealing the boat using the motor ... this secret shutoff would be the way. You need a long arm to do it.I am thinking that it could be possible to cut a small slit window into the liner in front of the tank to easily be able to check the fuel level using a flashlight. And suprise as well, the back of the start panel is also exposed in this space ...Whether we ever could change that fuse behind the start panel from the berth is another question. I only thought you could get to that fuse by taking out the start panel.Vic "Seven"
