I upgraded my A-4 gas engine to a diesel last spring. Since then, a diesel smell has started to form inside the boat. At first it wasn't that strong, but it's starting to become more noticeable as the months pass. I'm getting ready to haul her for winter storage

Leak

Sounds like you have a small leak. Check your bilge, does it have a shine. Diesel feels oily, so feel around. Follow the fuel flow; tanks, line, pump, injectors, exhaust , muffler, exhaust hoses, etc.

No leak

I should have included that in my message. I checked all of the fittings

Allen; When you fill the tank with fuel, don't fill it so much that fuel stands in the rubber filler tube. It is permeable and will smell after a while. Once the fuel level drops and fuel is no longer standing in the filler hose, the smell will go away.

Cat Litter

I have found that the best and most cost efficient means of reducing odors and humidity inside my boat is to place a couple of bowls of standard, odor obsorbing cat litter in the cabin. When the smells start to get stronger again, change the cat litter. It has worked well for me. Good luck.

You have a leak, trust me.

I would start by checking the vent line, a crack, even small, could cause fumes. Next, look for any weather cracked fuel lines and change those that look even a little suspicious. Check the base of the fuel tank for leaks. Don't give up until you find it.
