Recently started to smell diesel in the cabin (1991 30T Hunter) so I checked all around the engine compartment and did not find a source... I had recently added fuel to the tank on a very hot day so thought that this might be the after effect... smell did not go away Engine appeared to run ok.. When checking to see why the speed guage did not work had to lift flooring to get to transducer and found that there was diesel in the center bilge... Trying to figure out the original source....Any suggestions?

Fuel Filter Assy?
Have you changed your fuel filter recently? It seems to me that there is always some dripping after the fuel filter replacement. Either the bleed screw was not tightened enough (careful, don't strip it) or the o-ring on the collar hasn't set properly.
