Greetings all, Up here in Vermont the season is coming to a close so then the natural thing is to begin to think about the projects you want to accomplish before the 'splash' in Spring. I hope to install a fuel gauge. I have '85 Hunter, 31'. Has anyone installed, where did you put gauge, any pictures? Thanks in advance for your advise. David Gray

Snake River Guage

I installed the Accu Guage by Snake River to monitor all the tanks, diesel, fresh water, holding. I did not want to use their new fuel sensor that is mounted internally in the tank. West Marine still had a few of the externally mounted sensors and I used one of those. I'm happy with the system.

Snake River Also

I also installed the Accu Guage by Snake River to monitor all the tanks, diesel, fresh water and waste. I use their new fuel sensor that is mounted internally in the tank. I had to remove the fuel tank anyway, to clean out some water and slim that was in it. (That's another story, how to get a fuel tank out) I changed their mounting process by using nuts & bolts instead of the self tapping screws they sent. (Did not trust them going into a 1/8" thick plastic tank and staying tight) Hardest part was pulling the 3 wires for each sensor back to the control head. Took a day to do the whole job. Bought the system right here at Hunter Owners.com. I'm OK with the system, it does what it does. I'll take some pictures next time I go down to the boat.
