The Fuel fill fitting on my 1980 H-33 is on the cockpit floor. It is a real pain to fill as it bubbles up and needs to be filled real slow. Any thoughts on relocating the fitting and or venting ????
I have had the same trouble on my 79 H 33. Turned out that in replacing the vent hose the hose had been allowed to sag way down toward the bottom of the hull before rising to exit the transom. Therefore, the hose just acted as a big trap and prevented the air from easily getting out the vent. Fix was to raise the vent from the top of the tank as high as possible before running to the transom vent fitting.
