The diesel fill fitting on my Hunter 33 is located in the sole of the cockpit. When we fill up, the fuel bubbels up and spills everywhere. Has anyonelse had this problem. I am thinking of relocating and venting but not sure of the particulars.
Check your vent and hose. Bugs like build nests and cocoons in the vent fitting. Also, after having the same problem myself, I noticed that the vent hose was too long and therefore formed an airlock so there was in effect no vent. I shortened the hose so that it just reaches the vent fitting, and haven't had a problem since. Good Luck!
