Diesel and Biocide

I've been a bad sailor and haven't seen my boat in 11 months. I had the engine serviced three months ago, water/fuel separator and oil replaced. Shaft relubed, and al the monthly maintenance, i.e. bottom clean, top deck washed and waxed, etc.. I put Biocide in the tank last year in April and haven't been out, so... should I worry about by tank being contaminated?

If the tank was full when she was put away...

it's likely okay. Tanks left with space inside for extended periods tend to accumulate condensation that can contaminate fuel. Terry

...and if not, then what ?

It's a 25 gallon tank, but had about 21 gallons in it.

IMHO I think you're okay. Three gallons leaves very...

little space in the tank, you used a biocide, the boat is kept in a warmer climate and you have fresh filters. Terry
