toothpaste on plexiglass, used not with toothbrush but with soft cloth. rub small circles into the plexiglass, rinse with another soft cloth....i found good result right away--so i will be redoing my windows with toothpaste making a nice clear center fading to translucent edges....
is safety feature at no extra charge---if in cabin, one must be able to see out without giving self away......

If the toothpaste has baking soda in it your just going to add more scratches so be careful. Chuck

Ahh, those were the days...before dentures. What's toothpaste? I tend to forget.

Crest or Colgate?

What's available "overseas?"

Yup, tried it a few times, it really works.

Happy smiles to you...:)

I've used toothpaste on plastic watch crystals, CDs,etc to remove scratches. Good old Crest usually worked.

For a whole set of boat windows though, a proper plastic polish might be more efficient - cost and otherwise.

I have freshened up car headlight lenses when they developed cataracts from old age. Kits are at auto parts stores, worked well on 89 volvo 240 lights.

i dont know what stuff they stock here in mexico in auto parts places--i didnt look for specialty products, as everything must have at least 2 uses and functions....

Rubbing compound works as well. Might be cheaper, though it doesn't smell as nice.

havent tried that, as i didnt and still dont have any -- is difficult here to get to finding thst kind of item -- auto parts store is far away. toothpaste is sold everywhere and is cheap enough--an di have extra, usually, so, i used the toothpaste--serves double duty.
