I have a SHURFlo Diaphragm pump that supplies the pressurized water to the sinks in my boat. When it is running it seems to make excessive noise as to others that I have heard. Is there a maintenance kit that can be put in to refresh it ? the version i have is
Model - 225-3000
12 vdc
open flow - 3.0
7.0 amps
11.4 gpm

Apparently, the 225-3000 was superseded and the parts are scarce/not avail.. too much noise could be the mounts not being flexible any more or could be a problem in the drive end. They are pretty simple and I think that there is a replaceable sealed ball bearing in the drive end. I had one that had failed its bearing .. I saw that I couldn't buy parts any more for the pump end, so I bought a replacement 3 GPM pump..
This would be fine: http://shop.sailboatowners.com/prod.php?3635/Aqua+Jet+2.9+GPM+Water+Pressure+Pumps
Check to make sure the head has not simply vibrated loose (three or four screws to tighten) and check that something has not gotten it jammed so the flex feet aren't flexing and the vibration is being transmitted to the boat structure..
