DIAMOND AND SPREADERS

I HAVE AN 17' O'DAY AND I'M CHANGEING BACK TO IT'S ORIGINAL RIGGING. WHEN BOUGHT IT CAME WITH A DIAMOND SHROUD WITH OUT THE SPREADERS I'M REINSTALLING THE DIAMOND AND I'M WONDERING WHAT ARE THE LENGTH OF THE SPREADERS AND THIER INSIDE DIAMITER ANY INFO WOULD HELP...........THANKS

spreader dimensions

Assuming you have a DS II, the spreaders are 24 inches long by 1/2 inch OUTSIDE diameter. (Not sure why you were cueing ID.)I am confused by a diamond shroud, without spreaders. How do you get a diamond configuration without spreaders?The attached picture shows the spinnaker pole and topping lift, but you can see the spreaders and shrouds in it as well.

extra spreaders

if you are talking about the short spreaders above the regular spreaders, i have that mod and can measure them tonight, they are in the area of 12 inches long. will check tonight.

upper spreaders

my boat has a set of spreaders above the reg set, with stays that attach at mast head and extend about 6' down with smass spreaders. the spreaders are 1/2 dia al by 8 inches long notched to hold their stay 7.5 inches out from the mast. my boat is a early o'day daysailor with 'lever' keel control.
