Could some kind person scan and forward the electrical and plumbing diagram for a 1982 22' Hunter. We have the owners manual including all diagrams except the ones for this boat. We are new owners and are looking forward to advancing our sailing skills. Thanks. bevnic@email.com

Electrical panel

Just a friendly bit of advice. I bought my boat last year and the panels were mounted 8" above the bilge on the front of the starboard settee. If per chance your's is there I sincerely suggest you move it to port next to the wooden support. Last year all my electrical went out (at night) due to massive salt corrosion. This position minimizes damage/ corrosion and I feel provided me a nice place to mount the VHF as well.

In a manual for 1984. Appears to be the same boat. Unfotunately I can not scan but will be glad to fax/mail copies if you want. Let me know.

In the same boat

Hello all, I'll be buying an h22 in a few weeks, and it seems that I'll be getting one of the boats that has an unfortunate habit of sinking every so often. I'll be checking the cockpit drain hoses, keel bolts, etc. to stop this sort of behavior, but on her last trip to the bottom of Pleasant Bay, a bit of corrosion started on the back of the electrical panel. I now have an interesting lumpy green sculpture that I find aesthetically pleasing but electrically frightening. It seems that a bit of rewiring is called for, and I would greatly appreciate a copy of those wiring diagrams, Don. Thanks, Bill hpbikeco@flash.net
