I recently purchased a 1977 Oday 22 and have a major problem. I need to replace the inner and outer shrouds (2 on each side) and I am not sure if the ones currently on the boat are the proper lengths. Can anyone please provide me with the length of the shrouds for this model boat. Also, we had a slight problem with the mast being torn off the boat and I have to patch the fiberglass and replace the bracket for the mast. Does anyone know where I might find such a bracket for this boat. Any assistance you can provide would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks so much for your time.

If you have the shrouds take them to a local rigger and have them duplicated using the old ones as an example. If not contact D & R Marine. If I understand that the mast was ripped off pulling out the bolts and the hinged mast step, this is a major repair. I would not just replace the fiberglass, but would reinforce and build up the thickness and added a aluminum backing plate to improve the support of the mast. The hinged mast step is available from D & R Marine, but also from other places such as Dwyer Aluminum Mast Co. and Rig-Rite, Inc. They are all on the net. This is do-able. I took the mast and mast step off this year to add a halyard organizer. I had to temporarily remove a bulkhead, replace bolts, change the mast wiring, and added a reinforcement plate. Good luck, CVP
