Use some pics of your own boat. You can also pickup some nice sailing photos from the sailing bulletin boards, just ask permission to use them. Most will be flattered to allow your use.

I have used a variety of different photos of my current and past boats as my wallpaper. It is great to look at on those cold winter days. In case you don't have your own boat yet, I believe that some boat manufacturers may have wallpaper available as well (I used a Hunter one for a while). You can also do a google search of sailboat photos and cut and paste an image for wallpaper (not sure of the copyright issues though).

I had wallpaper I used from Island Packet for a long time, but started using my own photos. I like Steve D's, so I've made that one wallpaper for now. Here's one from my boat - I like the dark background so it's easier to see the icons.

Great looking Pics
I like pictures of my boat too but I'm a little challenged when it comes to using a digital camera. The pictures I have taken don't enlarge very well so I end up with a picture insert rather then wallpaper. Any ideas as to how I can take pictures that enlarge to wallpaper without distortion? No laughing please.

First, try opening the picture to the largest format on your screen before right clicking and selecting for background/wallpaper. If that doesn't work, make sure you are starting with a digital format with lots of resolution and highest quality.

I have used pictures of my own boat but I was hopping to find "action shots" of the larger race boats or maybe some classic yachts. something along those lines anyway thanks anyway and I hope everyones sailing has been going well Brad s/v kivalo
