Oh Joy is an adapted version of the S&S

Pilot 35 and usually the newer boats in her size can't get close enough to see whether or not I have martinis on deck. Besides, martinis don't like 30* of heel very much.

I would love to upgrade

We currently have a 42 Cascade and I would love to upgrade to a used 46 or 47 foot Hylas and of course the 46' is designed by German Frers and the 47' is by Sparkman & Stephens. Given the choice between these 2 boats given that they were equiped equally which one would be your choice and why. Dennis

Being Beautiful vs Being Fast

Mike C So the question is do you want to go Fast with a G Frers design or look Beautiful while going Pretty Fast with a Sparkman & Stephens design? Would you say that those are the two big differences between these two designers? Dennis
