The mast post for trailing was cheap and bent. The shroud wires always would hang and I had to take off the bimini top when I walk the mast back before raising the mast. I solo a lot and it was very hard to step the mast alone. I built this extension to raise the mast when it is walked back and increased the angle when starting to raise the mast with the main sheet.
