Just came back from the marina where we have a couple new transients that showed up sometime yesterday, two 70 foot aluminum hulled catamarans, one of which is Nahema IV (http://www.worldwideluxuryyacht.com/?vi ... =en&id=153). They were on the hard at Derecktor's in Bridgeport for maintenance before we winter charter season begins.
Last Friday the 9th, the crew received an email from Derecktor's saying that they had one week to finish their own maintenance, get launched, and leave the yard, as it was closing today! These guys had to replace their own zincs, buy their own bottom paint (12gal of it) and do their own painting to get launched...
I guess they launched 8 boats yesterday in their attempt to clear out the yard which is a record for them as they will normally only launch one boat in a day...
