Depth Transducer thru hull - 1988 Hunter 28.5?

Any one know where Hunter placed the depth system transducer thru hull for a 1988 Hunter 28.5? I found the transudcer, sitting loose, next to the knot meter thru hull. Could it possibility be in the same area? I can find no evidence that this isthe location. Thank you.

On my 1985 28.5 the transducer is next to the knot meter thew hull wheel.

On the 1987 26.5 we had, it was next to the speed, but it really is not a true thru hull. It kind of sits on a membrane which in transduces through. It doesn't have to be exposed to the wet sea to get depth. Lookfor a recepticle or a post for it to sit in?????yours might be different. Is it in or out of the water? Good luck

forward of the keel...

would be the logical place. Mine was under the floorboard just aft of the V-berth.

My 86' 28.5 the transducer is under the floor boards just in front of the post.
