Yep I know this subject has been flogged to death "however" I just wanted to check!I am about to fit a NAVMAN Multi to my 260 (speed and depth) and am yet to recieve all the bits but I would assume there will be two thru-hulls to fit.Now the question has been answered before on this forum but I just wanted to check before I go drilling holes.I figure I will have to mount them under the aft berth to get away from the water ballast tank. How far out from the centre line of the hull should I put them. Knowing that on the windward side one of them may be out of the water should she heel to much.I beleve from previouse posts that the bilge pump motor may interfere with the workings of the depth transducer??? So I guess I need to keep the transducer away as much as possible! If you are going to suggest a fish finder and a GPS forget it cos I reckon yachts and fish don't mix (ha ha).
