I have a Hunter 23. 1989. I am in the prosess of getting it ready for sail. I noticed that the existing depth sounder display unit that is mounted in the wall of the bulkhead has recieved extensive water / sun damage and is no longer operational/readable. I tryied to contact several companies about getting a replacement head and found (as far as I can tell) that this company is out of business (bought out) I assume? that the sounder is original equiptment with the boat. I need to find one that will "fit" in the same hole as to avoid leakage/ugliness. If anyone can direct me to whom I need to contact i sure would apreciate it!!! Thanks!! Matt

Measure the cutout

...and then get a copy of your favorite marine supply catalog (West Marine, Boat/US, etc. and see if they have a replacement display that will fit. If not, try to get one that is bigger than your existing cutout, so all you have to do is make the hole bigger. Peter S/V Raven

Navico

I believe Navico is(was?) a UK co. but they are serviced now by an outfit in FL called Simrad. I think they have a website. It might be cheaper to just replace the unit with a new one.
