I had the same depth sounder on my Catalina 30 which I had problems with my transducer. That manufacturer of the DS-45 was bought out by (SIMRAD)electronics, they don't make those any more but they still service it. I was able to get a new transducer. I don't have the phone number available at the moment. But if you call West Marine they should have the phone number to simrad. Good luck
