I have a Raymarine ST50 Tridata on my Hunter 30T. I recently replaced my battery charger and coincidentally my depth started to act up. With the battery charger off the gauge read intermitantly and flashes in error mode most of the time. With the battery charger on the gauge reads an incorrect depth and continues to increase the depth reading until it maxxed out. The speed part and my wind direction gauge seem to work okay. Any ideas? Gauge or transducer??

Similar problem

My H376 has the same ST50's and when I first turn the instruments on the depth gauge reads 56 feet in the slip! Once I turn the engine on and start heading out it starts correcting itself until it reads normally?? I'd also like to know if it's the gauge or the transducer ...
