Funny you'd mention him. Got to sail next to his old boat in Cozumel Friday. It was a touristy thing. We got bumped to the "True North" from Canada and the other team was in the " Stars and Stripes", one of his old boats. Must have been REAL old, it was fiberglass on top and aluminum on the bottom. Sail was probably original and was UGLY. I got a picture I'll try and post later. It. Was. Fantastic. I've never raced in a sailboat before. Their boat was much faster (newer sails), but our strategy was better. They made a huge mistake turning around and we had a good 200 yard lead. Then they ran us down...We lost by a nose.
