Anybody bought a DHR trawler lamp recently? I have gone through three (within one week) and all leak oil. Seems to leak from the flange that holds the lamp in the housing. I used these years ago and really liked them.

not sure if it's soldered or extruded. But, if I pay $300 for a lamp, I'm not going to try to get it "redone"......
EXACT same situation for us, they seemed to have pinholes that we could not see but leaked enough leave a large spot on the rug below and we went through wicks really fast. Finally had West Marine reorder ours for us and this latest one seems ok.
