Delta Ditch Race Great Fun!

This race is on 6-11-05. I have done it a few times and had a good time. It starts in S.F. Bay and ends in stockton, 71 miles. Down wind using all your sails. Not many Hunters have entered. Lets get a class of 5 or more in this years race. 290 and 306 are the same boat! We should be able to find a fleet. If not,then we race PHRF which requires a certificate from YRA San Francisco and we race all different kinds of boats. Class or not you need to get the rating certificate. My 306 is rated at 207. It would be fun to race the same boats. The Richmond Yacht Club and Stockton Yacht club co-sponsor the race and party and they envite all members or not. Start planning your Trip and find a hardy crew. Study your charts!

Love the Delta Ditch run

We have been doing the Delta Ditch for the last couple of years.. it's great fun and always a great party.. normally we have a tri-tip in the oven and the crew brings shrimp, snacks, and drinks... great race... We did well last year.. even though this "spinnaker" is really an asymetrical disconnected from the bow and flown with a pole.. go with what you got... Hope to see more Hunters this year
