We have a Nelson Filtration Products "The Koalescer" 2 stage fuel conditioner water separator onboard for the Yanmar engine andtrying to locate a filte #85261-N filter element. I have searched online and am not having luck locating Nelson Filtration Products or the filter part no. Does anyone have a source suggestion? The specs on the cartridge are flow rate is 35gpm for a 2 stage fuel conditioner. What would the equivalent model be if I had to convert to a Racor. I have a Yanmar 2QM15 diesel engine. Thank you

Nelson was aquired a few years back by Cummins inc who also own Fleetguard. I am sure if you call the customer assistance line at Cummins Filtration (Fleetguard) they will be able to give you the number you need. You will then be able to order them at your local Cummins Distributor. I have attached a web page for Fleetguard with all the numbers. Let me know if this doesn't work and I will get you the number. Racor 230R2 replacement
Ken, I spoke with Cummins Filtration this morning at great length and they were extremely helpful. Cummins Filtration bought Nelson Filtration Product in 1993/1994 time frame and our water separator was discontinued. Since it has a metric thread and current filter elements will not fit with the replacement head and Plexiglass bowl, a replacement is required. The replacment parts are a head and filter w/ bowl (3836094S and FS1240B). Fleetguard water separators must be purchased through their distributors and are not readily available in boatyards, therefore I went with the defacto standard in boats - Racor 230R2. I hope filter elements will be readily available for this seprator. Thank you for the insite.
