Fin vs. WIng
It's rare to find both keels in the same area. Local conditions usually outweigh any performance considerations. There got to be some difference, but I doubt if it is that noticeable. I've got a wing (dictated by 6 feet of water around my slip) and it performs well. By the way, don't believe the advertised specs. My wing supposedly draws 5 1/2 feet, but I've measured it at around 5 feet 10 inches. I wouldn't be surprised if the 6 foot 9 inch fin draws over 7 feet.
