Cambo:

here is an idea that worked well for us,,, our PO had assorted weather instruments placed on the bulkhead,, we wanted them repositioned, leaving unsightly holes,, we found at a garage sale, a couple of hand cut WOOD inlay sailing pictures, created out of exotic woods listed on the back, mahogany, maple, wild cherry. etc.... for $10 for a pair --- keeping the nautical and wood theme very much intact--
I'd assume even Skipper would of approve of the "essence",,
and if you don't already have one elsewhere, a BAR is always a welcome addition, and ours, limited in capacity, but made of teak.
We also have a teak magazine rack. Our PO kept the original Sail magazine, that has an advertisement for the ODay 28 from 1983 in, he bought the boat new, two years later, it is still residing in the teak rack, in pristine condition!

Was referring to the essence of her creators. As in maintaining the origin of their nautical vision, especially when that vision is true to the traditions and history of sailing.
Maybe too philosophical. :p But yes it looks nice - I like those wood pictures I have one at home.

Anyway, isn't that Captn Ron on the cover of Sail? :-D

It is very cool that you have the Sail magazine with an article about your boat. If it was my boat, I might cut out the article and frame it rather than having speedo guy hanging out in the main saloon all the time.

I would still take him over having a TV on board but to each his or her own, Steve.

CapnRon, are gonna let these guys pick on you like that? :)

Really, I don't see how we got through the eighties. I wore cutoff Jean shorts, but in retrospect, it was probably about as bad..

(Nice bulkheads though, mate.)

I didn't look that carefully enough to determine whether he should be referred to as Speedo Guy or Dude.

Seriously short and patched cut offs I wore in the 70s were probably just as bad, Steve.

that guy on the cover looks like the actor in Black Sheep squadron that was the movie star and was supposed to be the big flying ace lol

I mounted our spare propeller on the bulkhead. We have a feathering prop so polished the original up mounted on a board and put it up on the bulkhead.
