here is an idea that worked well for us,,, our PO had assorted weather instruments placed on the bulkhead,, we wanted them repositioned, leaving unsightly holes,, we found at a garage sale, a couple of hand cut WOOD inlay sailing pictures, created out of exotic woods listed on the back, mahogany, maple, wild cherry. etc.... for $10 for a pair --- keeping the nautical and wood theme very much intact--
I'd assume even Skipper would of approve of the "essence",,
and if you don't already have one elsewhere, a BAR is always a welcome addition, and ours, limited in capacity, but made of teak.
We also have a teak magazine rack. Our PO kept the original Sail magazine, that has an advertisement for the ODay 28 from 1983 in, he bought the boat new, two years later, it is still residing in the teak rack, in pristine condition!
