Hello

I have a quick question for beneteau owners out there, especially any Oceanis 41 owners. I am in the midst of purchasing a 41 in the UK (a 2012 model) and I have copies of the builders certificate and RCD amongst other things through. My query is the boat is supposed to be 2.05m keel, the RCD shows the depth as 1.73m and the draught blank. On my oceanis 31 the RCD shows the depth 1.5m and the draught 1.35m. Can anyone tell me what their's says or give me a logical explanation. I have seen the keel on pictures and is it certainly not a shoal draft, thanks in advance, all answers, advice really appreciated, Julie :)

A guess, one would be the actual draft of the boat, the other the measurement of the keel itself?

Hi, thanks for your reply. I thought the same as you suggest, but the keel on the 41 is 2.05m. I wonder if anyone on here who owns a 41 could confirm what their RCD certificate says , as I am buying the boat I just want to make sure it's a measurement of something else other than the keel , as this would suggest the keels been changed

The numbers I have for my boat are all over the place. Under the General Specs. it shows the deep draft as 2.18M (7'2") and the shallow draft at 1.70M (5'7"). In the factory spec. price breakdown sheet it shows the deep draft as 6'9". And the shallow as 5'1". will try to get a precise measurement before they commission and launch the boat on the 23rd.

As the fine print usually says, "Specs changeable without notice". Maybe that's the case- a redesign?
