Decking repair

I have a rather large refurbishing project ahead of me. What is the best way to repair the no-skid decking and top-side fiberglass?

A starting point

Investing $5 in the West System booklet # 002-550 - "Fiberglass Boat Repair & Maintenance", would be a good starting point. You don't have to use epoxies or West System products to benefit from the information in this booklet. Also you can learn quite a bit from books like Don Casey's " Sailboat Refinishing" .
