Beneteau 35s5 Tokyo, Japan
Hi All,

Second post of the day, so after this one I will be quiet. I have recently bought a 20-year-old 35s5 and looking a possible improvements. The deck is banged up a lilttle bit and I was wondering what the options are for revitalizing in general. Obviously you can hit it with a brush and some soap to get the marks out, but is there any more you can do beyong that?

Thanks in advance.

Cleaning Decks

You could try Dishwasher Powder .. Bucket of warm water and a good helping of powder .. Use a soft brush .. Gets rust marks off .. Cleans Gel Coat and also does wonders to Teak Decks .. We use it on side decks and on the seats .. Gets all the green off .. Wash off with hose .. Then down the pub .. :) :D

Beneteau Oceanis 400 Galway, Ireland.
Oxalic acid works very well and is fast.
I dissolve it into warm water and mop it all over the deck.
Rinse off.
It takes away rust and leaves the deck snow white.
Buy it online.
Try a small area first to see how it works.
