Deck Plate replacements

I have two cracked water deck plates and I want to replace with stainless steel replacements. There are three small screws that secrue the throat to the deck After I remove the screws how do I remove the water fill throat from the deck?

I also want to replace the fuel and waste deck plaets and I would assume they will remove the same as the water deck plates.

You have a choice

1. Do what you are suggesting

2. Buy replacement plastic caps from Catalina Direct (they're the only source I've found for those caps that fit)

The reason is that new SS caps do not fit on your old deck fittings. To answer your "how do I get it out" question, you must look below the deck to find out how they are connected to the hoses underneath. Then it'll become REALLY apparent how to do it, because the hoses are connected to the long barb at the bottom of the deck plate with hose clamps.
