Deck light switch

Boat came with a combination steaming and deck light about half way up the mast on the front side of the mast.

The downward looking decklight halogen bulb has a bad habit of burning out or its base corroding and then it won't work.. The steaming light is the forward facing part that should be lit at night (along with regular nav lights) when motoring.

Most larger Hunters have a combination steaming/deck light fixture with separate switch controls. Likely yours has something similar to the following:
