I have had a deck leak on my Columbia 41 that I have tried to conquer for 4 years. It drives me crazy! The drip appears on the tip of one of the bolts that comes through the deck holding the portside jib sheet traveler. It's above my galley food shelves. I suspect that there is water getting into the hollow cockpit perimeter (cowling?) where the main sheet traveler and jib winches are mounted. I've caulked and bedded every possible entry point for water in that area.
My questions are... Has anyone had this problem and how did you resolve it? Is there some sort of electrical wire channel embedded in the fiber glass that is possible bringing water from some distant source that I'm not even considering?
