What type of Cleaning Agent and lubricant is recommended for Deck Organizer and Cheek Block. Please note that the Organizer has bushings and the Cheek Block has stainless steel bearings.
Best regards,
Charlie

Use TEAM MCLUBE

Sailkote Dry Lubricants on all the moving surfaces, bearings and traveller. Works great.

Warm water and soap is not going to hurt anything. Rinse well with a high pressure nozzle.

Once they are dry a good shot of McLube should do the job!

How timely. I took my organizers off on Saturday and they are here at home. They were so gummy with old lubes (who knows what anymore) that I recommend disassembly and cleaning in solvent. Rinsing with water just wasn't doing it and the sheaves were very stiff. Dry lubricant is a good choice as it doesn't pick up dirt so easily. High pressure rinsing means you should plan on rebuilding every season.
