Hi all,
I finally am getting some time to work on Serenade, going through all the systems looking for anything that needs work before we launch. The water fill fitting has a plastic cap that has seen a LOT of sun over the years. Does anyone know where I might find a replacement? I snapped a pic (below). As you can see it is labeled "LEN". Maybe a standard size fittings? I wouldn't mind replacing it with stainless if available.
Thanks!

If it's a standard 1.5" deck fill (which actually refers to the size of the hose that goes onto it...the threaded opening is 1.25", so don't let that throw you) AND it's no older than mid '80s, you can find replacement caps at most marine retailers.
Deck fills originally had 16 TPI (threads per inch). Sometime in the mid '80s that changed to 11 TPI and that's what they are today. You will not find a deck fill that has 16 TPI anywhere. I found that out in 1997 when I had to replace the pumpout fitting cap on my last boat that was built in '79. I even had access to US importers then...finally had to give up and replace the fitting.

No worries here. Except for the black cap on the waste tank fitting that has not changed in color, all the rest have turned white like yours; fuel (red), fresh water (blue). I'm happy as long as they do the job; 'O' rings in good condition to keep water out of the fuel deck fitting. I suppose one could paint them to color match, or order replacements from Defender.com. They might even have SS caps.
