Ur sailboat is on the hard. After several boat bottoms around us were sanded the deck of our boat is stained with dust. Basic water and boat cleaner doesn't touch the stains. The deck is also very badly oxidized so it is absorbing more. What is the best way to get stains out. What is the best thing to get rid of oxidization and shining again?

In 1996 while we were in Mobile after coming down the river from Chicago, we were in a boatyard for a few weeks. We had same stuff on our deck from boats being sanded. The deck was covered. I remember using Muriatic Acid to get it off, but don't remember if I mixed it or used in straight. You might try it on a small area and see how it works for you, and be careful and read the label...it is strong stuff.

Defender sells something called "Z-Tuff", does a great job of cleaning the decks and just about everything else. I've used it but light the StarBright a bit on the $$ side
