Don, In one of your responses on a recent posting, you state: "a lot of guys sail that race DDW. You could match their sailing time on a 55 gallon drum" (refering to the Ensenada Race). I am a relatively new sailor with a Hunter 33 in Long Beach. I am presently trying to get my ducks in a row to enter the 2003 Ensenada Race. (Never been in an organized race). A discussion of strategy for this downwind race would be of great help! Chris
