John, The one thing we know is that we are born and
that we die. We come to this life with a, for the most part, little body. I have to say I have never realy seen a beautiful baby. They are prune like and all they want is food and sleep. Nasty tempers.....When life here is done, we leave with less than we came with. The body remains. From your response, I don't think that you or your mother were believers in Jesus.Death is the great equilizer and a wake up call. Not only do we see powerful people helpless to death, they take nothing with them. This, in a way is a good thing. It makes us think and prepare. I have been a lifetime boater as you have laid out. I am deeply sorry for your loss!I am from a boating family and from 4 months old,I have been a boater.I also know how fast things can go south!I searched for a sailor early in May. He was lost and found four days later.Love your Mom! Move on because you not only have your dad to pull along, you have your wife, your kids, and your grand children that need you to be strong, wise and loving. You sir, will be in my prayers! You will need them to lead them forward. Much of my prayer will be for wisdom. I hope you find the right things to say to inpart wisdom to a future generation. I hope you will understand that all life on this earth ends. I hope you find that an eternal life is within reach.I hope the best for you, your dad, and all that are grieving!God Bless you!r.w.landau
