Hello, We have an alder barbour refridge, and need to update it to the new refrigerant, so we were thinking of putting in a dc system. We would like some recommendations from anyone out there who has info/experience with it. Thanks, Linda & David

Hard to advise you without more info

Isn't this a DC refer anyway? Why change the refrigerant?

Sounds like

You now have an AC refer only. Must be you have an AC power supply while on the water. Either an alternator or a convertor. Why are you updating? Has all of your refrigerant leaked out? Do you think that the old refrigerant is environmentaly unfriendly and you're trying to be Green? If your old system is working I'd tend to go with the maxim: "if it ain't busted don't fix it." Keep cool, Mike
