Can someone tell me what is the purpose of the two switches (labeled 1 and 2) on the top left hand side of the Panel? There is also a white on off swithes (look like 110V) ond the bottom left hand side that I can not figure out. Thank you

maybe

Since the switches are set up where only one can be on at a time, it looks like it is a way to power the DC system from two different sources, like 2 different batteries... A lot of boats have this setup (more or less) on the actual batery selector switch, but this would actually make it easier to switch between sources and manage amps usage etc.. the easiest way to find out for sure is to drop the panel and follow the wires from each switch and see where the go.. Or you could do some voltage readings with each on and then compare that to the battery reading to see which comes from which. Brian s/v CREW REST

430 DC Panel Switches

We have the same panel on our 430. I think Brian's explanation of switches 1 and 2 is correct, although I never use these switches. Like yours, ours is always set on switch #1. The second switch you refer to turns the cabin lights over the salon table on and off on our boat, but you must first turn Courtesy Light #1 on the fuse panel. Peter Milne S/V Blue Heron

I also have an issue with the Autopilot Raymarine ST7000+ rudder transducer being install under the flywheel. I do not think it was a proper installation. anybody can help?

#1 switch connects the DC Panel to the engine starting battery. #2 switch connects the DC Panel to the house batteries. What do the labels say for those switches?
