Has anybody replaced the lumination for the switches on the dc panel? My boat is a 2005 41AC.:) This is my 1st post.

Welcome aboard Bermuda Breeze
Changing out the back lights is pretty easy, a simple bolt on affair. The individual "switch ON" LEDs are also easy but do require some nimble fingers to effect the rewire. I'm thinking the hardest part is getting the replacement parts. Hunter may be able to help locate/identify the manufacturer.

Bermuda Breeze,

Are you talking about the switch label backlighting(panel lights switch)? If so, it is a piece of 12 volt electroluminescent wire which is held in place with copper tape. The wire is available on eBay or some electronic stores. It's tedious work to strip out the old, rewire and tape in place but I think the only alternative is to replace the panel.

Some have had success by clipping the end of the old wire and taping- it didn't work for me. My boat is a 2007 41DS so the panel should be the same.

Good luck.

This is exactly what I was asking about. I will check eBay. I will give it a try. Thanks for the response
